I stopped in my tracks when I came across the above photo of this gorgeous necklace.
Enough said.

Please note: I have filed this away in my personal folder.

Sunday Soundtrack: Barbarossa, Stones

I am obsessed with How I Met Your Mother and if you haven't had the chance to catch this hilarious sitcom, please start now (it airs on Mondays in Canada).

On that note, my boyfriend and I have had the following song on repeat since the last episode aired. Hope you enjoy this song and your Sunday afternoon.

colourful ceramics

I adore these ceramic plates and cups because it has made me even more anxious for Spring to arrive. The bright and cheery array of colours make me want to start collecting colourful dishware for our backyard BBQ's and family/friend get-togethers.

These Aedriel Originals would be perfect for a wedding gift, a birthday gift, entertaining, or to remember a date that's special to you.

Check out the site here.

BHLDN

I have always loved Anthropologie, but my love grew even more when I had a chance to visit this one-of-a-kind store last month at The Grove. And you can imagine my excitement when I learned that Anthropologie planned to launch their wedding site, BHLDN!

I am absolutely smitten with this online store. Check out their gowns, shoes, hair adornments, and accessories. They are amazing.

Cupcake In A Jar

This post was too charming not to share.

I came across it in my daily blog reads and fell in love with the idea of a decadent cake in a mason jar.

Enjoy!

- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- *2 1/4 tsp cocoa powder
- *1 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 tbsp red food coloring
- 1 tsp white distilled vinegar
- *2 tsp vanilla extract
for the cream cheese frosting:
- 1 pound cream cheese, softened
- 2 sticks butter, softened

the wine tea collection

Readers and tea [+ wine] drinkers: take note.

Anyone who knows me is aware that I love wine and I love tea. Period. That being said, when I came across this gift box on one of my favourite tea sites, DAVIDs TEA, I was thrilled! So, thrilled, that this gift box set has made the top of my Christmas stocking-worthy items [Yes, I know it's early, but have started that list already]!

The wine-inspired teas are Champagne, Marsala, and Cabernet Sauvignon (my fave), which come in a decorative box... I just love this gift. I might have to stock up for the wine lovers in my family.

On a seperate note, Happy Thanksgiving my Canadian readers.

Xo.

little hearts

With four (4) weddings this Summer I wish I would have come across the following sooner. Oh well, at least it's bookmarked in my personal files for the next wedding I attend.

And how adorable are these little hearts?

A perfect engagement or wedding gift these framed hearts can be personalized with the couple's initials and wedding date! Love it.

Dinner For 8

How gorgeous is this location?

This intimate dinner party for 8 is adorable. I love this idea for a very small reception with just your closest family or friends. Sharing in stories and enjoying the simplier things in life is my cup of tea.

That being said, this set up would also be a perfect fit for a proposal, to ring in the New Year, or a birthday celebration. Sigh.

I hope you enjoy your weekend and the first day of October! (Wow, it`s here already...)

What are you plans for this weekend?

Personally, I have a weekend consisting of a Jack Johnson concert, my Grandma`s 80th birthday and plenty of one-one-one dog time. I.can`t.wait!

"Hanky" Love Letters

I love.love.love discovering new (and chic) ways for your guests to write their well wishes to the bride & groom. Like I have said before, traditional guests books are becoming more and more creative; however, this 'guest book' idea triumphs all. The talented, Amy Moss, from Eat Drink Chic has created "Hanky" Love Letters.

Styled after vintage hankies, these letter-writing paper sheets are just too perfect for guests to write their well wish to the newlyweds. Adding to your wedding decor, these paper sheets would be just gorgeous hung at your reception venue.

Whatcha think? Would you opt for this novel guestbook alternative?

Feel free to download these beauties here.

Oh My Deer...

I am all about wedding correspondance these days. With a few weddings in my future, I have recently received the invites and love seeing the various calligraphy, colours and designs that those brides have chosen.

And I believe the following invites from Oh My Deer are just too rad not to share. I love finding unique, colourful and playful invites that I would choose as my wedding correspondance.

Love them?

Vintage Save-the-Dates

If you know me you definitely know about my love for Hawaii. I have to say if I was getting married and if I were to choose Hawaii (to be more specific, Maui) as my wedding destination, I would definitly opt for these Vintage Save-the-Dates.

It's such a fun (& cost effetive) way to add some excitement about a destination wedding.

My Favourite Love Shoot

I have had an eventful few days, to say the least, and I would love to dedicate this post the ones who have found that special someone. I truly believe that events that occur in your lifetime are meant to make you realize how important your special someone is to you.

That being said, This Love Shoot on Snippet & Ink instantly caught my eye. This intimate, sexy, sweet and authentic photo shoot is unlike anything else and I.love.it! This shoot is exactly how I would chose to showcase my love to my special someone.

I hope you all take today to spend some quality time with the person you care about and truly enjoy their companionship; I will.

Have a great weekend, all!
